Sports

The British School of Houston has a proud sporting tradition. Representative teams come under the banner of Bulldogs. Bulldogs sports include: Soccer, Netball, Rugby, Touch Rugby, Track & Field, Golf, and Volleyball. This year, our Bulldogs have been represented in TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools), TYRA (Texas Youth Rugby Association), and FNC (Florida Netball Classic). 

Bulldogs teams are also supplemented by sports clinics (open to all) held after school and on weekends. These are run by external qualified coaches and cover sports such as Golf, Soccer, Netball and Rugby.

While winning is important it is our mission to get as many students as possible involved and enjoying Bulldogs sports.

The school’s sports programme is fully supported by the school. The school is constantly reinvesting in its sports facilities as highlighted by its recent Soccer Field refurbishment, new Soccer Goals and commitment to TAPPS. In addition to the PE Department of 3 staff there are currently 10 coaches from other teaching faculties helping to run teams.
